Diverse Learners

Heartland AEA provides services that support all learners in schools and communities. Within the Agency, Heartland AEA strives to create an environment in which the backgrounds, experiences and perspectives of all employees are used to better serve area districts.

Services to districts and schools include the planning and implementation of a research-based framework to guide differentiated lesson planning and delivery and assessment that meet the specific needs of all learners.

How I’ve made an impact: I have worked closely with a district to implement a school improvement process that aligns evidence-based practices in improvement science with federal and state requirements for ESSA and Title I.
