Van Delivery Q & A
As of July 1, 2025, van delivery is a purchased service as part of the full implementation of House File 2612. Some school districts have chosen to continue this service for their teachers and schools, while others have not.
Below are answers to frequently asked questions to help clarify how delivery now works.
Q: How do I know if my school district has purchased van delivery service?
A: Our van delivery document lists all participating school districts that have purchased van delivery service. It will be updated regularly throughout the first quarter of the school year to reflect any changes that may occur.
Q: Who do we contact if we still want to sign up for van delivery service?
A: Please fill out our Shipping, Handling & Library Form.
Q: How can I find out when you will be delivering to my school district?
A: Route information and delivery schedules for all participating districts have now been determined. However, minor refinements may occur when districts subscribe to van delivery throughout the year.
Q: An AEA staff member serving a school district that hasn’t purchased van delivery service as something to be picked up from a school. How does that staff member let you know they have something to be picked up?
A: Fill out the Request Pick Up of Heartland AEA Materials form. Our team will work with you to make arrangements.
Q: My school district didn’t purchase van delivery services. Can we still order from Creative Services?
A: Absolutely! For each order, you would determine whether to ship the items (and pay the shipping expense per order) or pick up materials at a Heartland AEA office (no charge). Your staff may pick up your completed orders at any of our office locations.
Q: I’m a teacher in a district that didn’t purchase van delivery service, but I have something to return to the AEA from last year. What should I do?
A: Please email delivery@heartlandaea.org and we’ll work with you to arrange a pickup or determine the best return method.
