Learning Opportunity: Dyslexia Assessment and Instruction

This summer, join Wendy Robinson, Heartland AEA Director of Instructional Services, for a unique professional development class on dyslexia. Literacy and elementary educators will delve deeper into dyslexia to learn more about:

  • Characteristics and signs of dyslexia in children at different ages and stages of reading and writing development

  • Impact on learning, reading, spelling and writing assessments that guide instruction

Time will be allotted for participants to practice instructional strategies during class time.
